IATIS is pleased to announce the results of its recent elections for the Executive Council, and to welcome Professor Juliane House of Hamburg University as its new President. In her first letter to IATIS members, Prof House acknowledges the importance of ensuring that "IATIS continues to act as a truly international organization that represents all its members and the discipline at large" and expresses her confidence that "we will all work hard to maintain the spirit of solidarity that has made it such an energetic and effective association".
